Job role
As a bank teller, you will be responsible for processing routine operations like cashing checks, depositing money and collecting loan payments. You’ll work with the team to ensure high-quality customer service by reducing customer wait time and increasing transaction efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide services to customers by receiving deposits, cashing checks, issuing withdrawals and recording transactions
- Prepare specialized types of funds, such as traveler’s checks, savings bonds, and money orders
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Explain and promote basic products and services to clients as requested
- Adheres to security measures and controls as per teller procedures
Requirements
- [X] years of experience working in the banking industry
- High school diploma mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Cash handling and sales experience preferred
- PC skills necessary
